About The Farm
Athiana Acres is a 30-acre certified organic, regenerative farm growing a diverse mix of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. We grow over 150 different varieties of crops and are passionate about sharing our harvest with our local community through our on-site market and harvest boxes, as well as supplying our favourite restaurants around the city! There is never a dull moment on the farm and no day is the same – if you’re looking for a dynamic work environment with a team that is eager to make an impact in our community, we’re the place for you. Each season Athiana Acres hosts’ a unique variety of events both private and public, including farm to table dinners, farming/floral workshops, yoga in the flower fields and more. This season we will be launching out first CSA program for produce and florals.
We feel strongly about leaving our corner of the world better than we found it through our regenerative practices and we want to create a beautiful ecosystem on our farm in all aspects – in terms of the crops we grow and wildlife we welcome to the land, the community we support and farm team we are grateful to have work alongside us on our mission.

1 POSITION AVAILABLE:
Junior Farmer
Going into our fourth season on the farm, we are searching for a Junior Farmer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with education or work experience in farming, and are eager to learn and gain more hands-on experience in farming operations. The Junior Farmer will assist in various aspects of farm management and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Work Hours: ~35-45hrs / week, varies depending on seasonal requirements
- Work Days: 5 days, Typically Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, can require flexibility for other days of the week depending on seasonal requirements (Saturday flexibility is an asset CSA/market support!)
- Term: April 1 – Nov 1, 2026, with possibility of extension
- Location: Athiana Acres (12800 No.2 Road, Richmond BC)
- Compensation: $21.00-$24.00/hour + (commensurate with experience)
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Lead role in daily farm tasks to execute the crop plan including planting, seeding, transplanting, weeding, cultivating, and harvesting produce and flowers
- Assist with record keeping and maintaining the Fresh Sheet for tracking products and inventory
- Prepare and pack produce for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, market and restaurant orders
- Organize orders for delivery and pickup, coordinating with team members to meet customer needs
- Harvest flowers for the floral team’s orders and special events, ensuring the highest standards are met
- Support the cleaning and preparation of harvested flowers to maintain quality for orders
- Provide support in vegetable and flower field operations as needed
- Support/lead in 1-2 days of sales operations per week (ex. CSA pick-up, flower U-pick, order deliveries)
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical ability to carry out farm tasks (crouching and bending for long periods, lifting totes of product, etc) and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Familiarity and comfortability operating large vehicles (ex. delivery van, pick-up truck)
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold quality standards
- Willingness to learn and self-motivated to take on new responsibilities
- (Preferred but not required) customer service/sales experience, experience handling customer transactions and using Point of Sale machines/software
- Passion for organic, regenerative farming!
1-2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Farmhand
Going into our fourth season on the farm, we are searching for a General Farmhand to join our team. The ideal candidate is an individual with a passion to learn about organic and regenerative growing methods of produce and flowers. This position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in farming is a strong asset but is not required and it is more important that the candidate has the right mindset and willingness to learn!
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. As Farmhand, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on sustainable agricultural practices.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Work Hours: ~35-45hrs / week, varies depending on seasonal requirements
- Work Days: 5 days, Typically Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, can require flexibility for other days of the week depending on seasonal requirements (Saturday flexibility is an asset for CSA/market support!)
- Term: April 1 – Nov 1, 2026

- Compensation: $19.00-$21.00/hour + (commensurate with experience)
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist with daily farm tasks to execute the crop plan including planting, seeding, transplanting, weeding, cultivating, and harvesting produce and flowers
- Processing, washing, and accurately packing of crops for orders
- Prepare and pack produce for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, market and restaurant orders
- Harvest flowers for the floral team’s orders and special events
- Support the cleaning and preparation of harvested flowers to ensure quality
- Provide assistance in vegetable and flower field operations as needed
- Support greenhouse production activities to optimize plant growth
- Assist in various event preparations and support related activities
- Support and/or lead in 1-2 days of sales operations per week (ex. CSA pick-up, flower U-pick, order deliveries)
REQUIREMENTS & DESIRED SKILLS:
- Physical ability to carry out farm tasks (crouching and bending for long periods, lifting totes of product, etc) and ability to work in all weather conditions, in greenhouse and outdoor settings
- (Preferred) Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to understand directions and execute tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold quality standards
- Willingness to learn and self-motivated

1-2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Part-time Market Staff
We are seeking dependable and customer-focused Sales Staff to support our team at the weekly Squamish Farmers Market and other potential channels such as our CSA pick-up and U-pick operations. This position plays an important role in delivering a high-quality customer experience while representing our farm and its products in a professional manner. If you enjoy working with people, local food, and a lively atmosphere, we’d love to meet you.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Term: May 16 – Oct 31, 2026, those that are not available every Saturday are still encouraged to apply as some scheduling adjustments can be accommodated
- Work Days/Times:
- Option 1: Squamish Farmers Market ONLY (Saturdays, 7am-3pm maximum shift length, 7am-12pm shift also possible)
- Option 2: Squamish Farmers Market + Additional Sales Support with CSA or U-Pick (Thursdays & Fridays, Richmond and Vancouver)
- Location: Saturdays - Squamish Farmers Market, potential for Thursday and Friday opportunities in Richmond / Vancouver
- Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hour (commensurate with experience), $20.00 daily veg/flower stipend (full shift only)
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable service to customers
- Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
- Accurately process sales transactions and handle cash and electronic payments
- Stock, rotate, and maintain attractive product displays in accordance with Athiana Acres standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market space
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Adhere to food safety, cash-handling, and other farm policies
REQUIREMENTS & DESIRED SKILLS:
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift totes or farm produce (up to ~40/50lbs) and ability to work in all weather conditions
- (Preferred) Class 5 Driver’s License
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Familiarity with fresh produce or farm market operations is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional demeanor and positive work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
